Find Your Passion

The word passion is sometimes used as a buzzword. It's something we throw around without really knowing the meaning of. We all want a passionate life, passionate relationships and a job we are passionate about, but what exactly does that mean? Finding your passion is a very personal journey.

Before you'll ever be able to find your passion, you have to ask yourself what you want to be passionate about. What means the most to you? Do you want a job that makes you jump out of bed each day alive and excited? Do you want a partner that you can be passionate about for the rest of your life? You have to figure out what you need before you will be able to go after it.

Do a little research. Look at the lives of other people. Find out how they managed to be in the situation you'd like to be. What where their steps along the way and what where their challenges? By asking questions, you'll be able to learn from their mistakes and perhaps utilize some of the same resources they found.

Keep an open mind. Although you thought your passion might come from one direction, you could be completely bowled over and find it heading from another. If you don't have an open mind, you might miss the opportunities that are trying to find you. Just because you had a vision of how it should be, doesn't mean that that's ultimately what will make you the most happy.

Finding your passion is hard work! No one said it would be a quick or easy road. You have to really buckle down and do your homework. Don't give up though, because the answers you've been waiting for might just be around the corner. Living a life that is full of passion will be more than enough reward for your hard work and possible frustration.
