of our bodily functions will begin to function more poorly.
We need to drink a large amount of water each day. At least
eight glasses is recommended to be truly healthy.
Keep
your stress levels down. It's been proven that high stress
levels affect our health adversely. Our blood pressure increases
and we never get a chance to truly relax. In order to be healthy,
we have to find a way to curb and lower our stress. Whether
you decide to get more organized or start taking yoga, find
a way that works for you to get control of your stress levels.
Get
some exercise. This doesn't have to involve running a marathon
or climbing a mountain. All you have to do is about twenty
minutes per day. Whether you work your dog or dance to your
favorite music, whatever gets your heart beating faster is
great. Once you start, you'll find yourself having more endurance
and stamina.
Being
healthy is something we need more than anything else. There
are many small steps we can take to get ourselves closer to
the goal of optimum health. All we have to do is stick with
it! Make a promise to yourself to be more healthy and stick
to it. After all, it's the best gift you can give to yourself
and to your family.
