What Would You Do If You Lost Everything?
It’s an interesting question to ponder. In this clip, film maker David Hoffman recalls how he lost all his most prized possessions in a fire. I found it quite admirable and inspiring how he turned such a big negative into quite a positive. This was recorded days after the fire. Most people would probably be shattered to pieces by such an event. I think we can all take a lesson out of his reaction.

That is actually my biggest fear and I have gone over this scenario in my head about a million times. Here how I would handle the situation: This is predicated no one was hurt or killed….
1) I would cry
2) Have a killer bottle of wine (or 2)
3) Be grateful I am alive and begin again…
Cheers
Cathy

Hi Cathy….I agree, it’s something that is terrifying to think about. Little things that we don’t usually pay attention to every day, but losing them would be devastating. Like pictures, and souvenirs of trips and writings, and all that stuff. It could happen to anyone, whether it’s a fire, tornado, flooding, or whatever. Makes you ponder what to do in that situation.
