In 2002, President Clinton began the Clinton Foundation HIV/AIDS Initiative (CHAI) to assist countries such as, Africa and Asia, in implementing large-scale, treatment and prevention programs that will turn the tide on the epidemic. President Clinton remains involved with the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) which brings together a community of global leaders to devise and implement innovative solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges.
